About me
Hi, I'm Paul Murray, a freelance graphic designer based in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Since 2012, I've been designing (and building) websites, user interfaces and branding for clients big and small.
Now my focus is on helping businesses in and around Manchester, Bolton and Wigan by providing them with flexible, customer-led graphic design. Working from Leigh Hackspace, I rub shoulders with some really awesome artists, photographers and programmers, giving me a wealth of talent on hand for a range of projects.
My approach
Simplicity and flexibility is my aim with every project. If you keep things simple, it gives you much better options for expansion and adaption.
You can't predict the future, so I like to keep everything I design simple enough that it can scale with future needs. This is particularly true of branding and logos, which need to be able to grow and adapt as a business does.
I'm also an advocate of accessibility and good user experience. How people interact (and expect to interact) with technology is always at the forefront of my design process. Poor user experience often translates to bad customer experience. It doesn't matter how good a product is, if your customers can't find the information they need they're not going to buy it.
Through research and an understanding of UX practices, I design websites, apps and interfaces that put the focus on your customers and their needs.
